Artist Jack Davis creates handmade Texas Flags stain glass window style
Fatjack, as he is affectionately known by his friends from his more portly years was stuck down by the debilitating disease, bacterial meningitis in 1996. Prior to his coma, he had a long career as a Jack of all trades. He has sold his artwork (stained glass, beadwork, metal jewelry), knives, vegetable dicers and other sundries at festivals and fairs across the United States. With his world turned upside down, he found himself unable to perform many of his skills and adrift in the maze of social "services". He decided to create Stained Glass Flags and sell them at George W. Bush's celebration on the night of the Presidential Election. However, due to the 40 days of questioning election results, he now has a surplus of flags and is offering them on-line for this low price.
